I would NOT recommend these books. Junie B. uses bad words such as: hate, stupid, dumb, oh my god, and others. She acts like a brat and her family doesn’t do anything about it! A couple of the titles are: Junie B. Jones and the Stupid, Smelly Bus, and Junie B. and the Yucky Blucky Fruit Cake. She once sat on top of the refrigerator!

I hope you are having a nice day.

Is it a day when it’s snowing and raining in a pattern? We had a day like that today. It snowed at night, then rained, then snowed, then rain again – it was a mess! My mom said that it is not good to play in snow that is rainy because it is slush. Slush is not as fun as it sounds apparently.

It still looks pretty though!

So if you have a day like that I have an idea for you! Use the recipe that you will see later. Then watch a movie that you have, or you can rent one. We rented Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs because I love it. We rent it so much I think we should just buy it!

Do you want to make our delicious treats like these?

They are cinnamon rolls called Clone of a Cinnabon and they are delicious! They take a long time though. I couldn’t wait to eat them! I think a good idea would be to start making them while your kids are asleep so they don’t have to wait as long as I did.

So you look at this simple recipe and follow the instructions. Here is what you will need:

Ingredients:

1 cup warm milk (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

2 eggs, room temperature

1/3 cup margarine, melted

4 1/2 cups bread flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white sugar

2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/3 cup butter, softened

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

We made these today and they were delicious! They looked like this before the frosting

And then I got to put the frosting on to make them extra yummy. Next time I would make more frosting because I like them really gooey.

And decide what to do next. We decided to play board games! We played Clue which is one of my favorites.

I hope this helps you have FUN on your next snow day! We have another snow day tomorrow and we are going to make homemade Valentine cards! I will tell you all about it when we are done.

Thank you for reading this.

Here is our recipe for snow ice cream. It is delicious!

8 cups snow (or crushed ice if it’s not winter)

1 can sweetened condensed milk

12 teaspoons vanilla

I also like to add chocolate syrup. My mom says that the kind in a metal can is the best, but I like it in a squeeze bottle too. I am a big fan of chocolate and I will eat it any way. My Aunt Amy is a big fan of chocolate too!

Mom said that sometimes she uses evaporated milk and adds some sugar too, because we don’t usually buy the other kind. You can also use fruit puree – that means fruit smashed up in a blender – to make fruit flavors. I don’t like that kind though.

It does look pretty!

I think snow ice cream is a great way to have FUN on a snowy day. It is also a nice treat for kids that are sick and can’t go outside. If they can’t go out in the cold, you can bring the cold to them! And snow feels good on a sore throat.

We are supposed to have more snow this weekend. I hope so, because I can’t wait to make some snow ice cream!

I live in the south and it hardly ever snows here. A few days ago it snowed a lot! Since it doesn’t snow here very often that made it extra exciting!

I went sledding on a steep hill and it was awesome! Daddy pushed me down that hill and he and I made a sledding trail. A sledding trail is a trail where you sled. One of the most fun things was finding snow crystals. Snow crystals are lots of snow that gets pushed together when it snows. They can be different shapes and a lot of them look almost like perfect balls of snow. Here is a picture of me after I got done looking for snow crystals:

Another fun thing that people always like to do is build snowmen. One time we discovered that our snow would not make big balls, but we found another way to make a snowman. We made snowman triangles! Here is a picture:

Snowman ‘cones’ (snowcones-haha!) take a lot of work, but they are a great way to have FUN even when the snow won’t cooperate!

A great way for grown-ups to relax is easy – just let your kids bundle up and go outside to play in the snow. And then you can relax as long as the ones who give you trouble stay outside playing!

PS) Come back later this week and we will post a recipe for snow ice cream!

Last week my sister started something very fun that I thought I should tell you about. She gave my mom breakfast in bed! Well, not really in bed because she was on the couch. Our littlest sister was sick and she wanted Mommy to hold her so Mommy couldn’t get up to get food. Catie decided to bring the food to Mommy!

I think this is a great way to let your children have fun and you get something good too! Let your children give you breakfast in bed. Tell your children if you want a surprise or tell them exactly what you want. You probably shouldn’t want something too fancy or else it might be hard for them to do it. Catie is 4 and she brought my mom a bowl of cereal (no milk), a muffin, a cup of water, and a clementine that was already peeled! Oh, and a napkin. She got a tray out of the cabinet and put a napkin on it and all of the food, and then she carried it in and she never spilled a drop or made any mess at all. We were very impressed of her!

It’s fun to give breakfast in bed to your kids, too! We have trays with foldout legs on them and those are really good for eating in bed. You can also put a towel down if you have a really messy eater. Foods like toast and fruit are good to eat in bed because they don’t spill as much as milk does. Or maybe oatmeal since it’s sticky.

I hope you like my breakfast in bed ideas. Maybe you can try them this weekend!

I have fun making this website! I love to make things fun and I am happy you do too. I hope you liked my recipe for eye-poppin’ popcorn.

In 13 days my sister Catie will be in pre-school. She has never gone anywhere without Mommy or me and she is feeling very nervous. I think when you have somebody ready to start you should have a school party. For my going-to-school party Momma gave me a necklace that was shaped like a cross. It was so that I’d know Jesus and God were always with me, even when Momma isn’t.

Now we are planning a going-to-school party for Catie before she goes to pre-school! Here are some ideas to make your party fun:

-Decorate the house! That makes it so fun. The Dollar Store is a good place to get school-themed stuff to hang up for a school party. For my party I even made school bus pictures to hang on the walls. (And I don’t even ride a school bus! Isn’t that funny?)

-Ask your kid what their favorite games are and try to have some of those to play.

-Invite some friends to the party too! Maybe their friends are nervous about going to school too, so everyone could have fun and feel better together!

-School supplies make nice presents. Parties are better with presents! You can wrap them up for your kid to open and it makes school seem more fun! That made me feel very good about school.

-Let the kid pick all of their favorite foods to eat. I picked corn dogs, cheese sticks, and homemade chips for my party – they are so good!

-Take lots of pictures so you can remember how fun that day was.

After the party, another idea is to make something they can take to school with them. My mom made me a luggage tag with pictures of my sisters and my cousin and she hooked it on my backpack. It is nice to have a picture with you.

Now I have lots of friends from school, and I can’t wait to go back and see them again in 1st grade. 3 of the kids from last year will be in my class again this year – how cool is that?

Hi! I’m Annie and welcome to my website! I spent a lot of time making this website – it was really fun! To get started, I am going to tell you about what we did yesterday. It was a rainy day so we couldn’t play outside. We decided to watch a movie and make popcorn – one of my favorite things to do! I usually like popcorn with M & Ms, but we did something different this time.

I got a really cool kids cookbook from the library. It is called the Magic Kitchen Cookbook and it is awesome! We used a recipe in it to make Mike Wozowski’s Eye-Poppin’ Popcorn! It is very easy. It called for microwave popcorn but we didn’t have it so we used our hot air popper to make it ourselves. There are 3 different toppings you can make but we chose the chocolate!

We mixed one box of sugar free chocolate pudding mix with 4 teaspoons of cinnamon and stirred it all up. Then you sprinkle just a little bit of it over the popcorn. We used spray butter first to make it stick. The book says that one pudding mix will make enough for 9 bags of microwave popcorn so you can save some for next time!

There are two more popcorn recipes also – Parmesan-Ranch and Pizza popcorn! We did not try those yet but they sound good. You should find this cookbook so you can try them too.

Come back tomorrow for more ideas on making things FUN!
